When used properly, Art Manager is there to reflect the physical world com, which means that when an item is placed in a crate then the system display the location as an item location.
It sounds logical the users come to realize that this matter happens only when a crate’s location is capture and all items in it are appropriately assigned to it.
There are two ways to do it easily in the app once labels have been printed.
Option number one Use a regular transfer to scan items into a crate. All you need to do is create a new transfer scan the items going into the crate, tap finalize, and scan a crate label
Option number two Use packing or warehouse worksheet or receive-in transaction. Download a packing or receive in transaction, go to to a checker, scan an item and then scan a crate or select a crate from the drop-down list in the Position drop-down
If one looks at the item description screen, the Packaging section will have a reference number - that's the label number. the type and sizes of that package appear next to it. And if Location is empty, it means that the crate wasn't scanned into a location, but the job inventory screen will then show the item's location. Yes, it's had to change the industry tradition, but slow and steady wins the race
